Albuquerque, NM
Petroglyph National Monument
June 23, 2009
The grafitti of today becomes a historical record when viewed in the future. Drawings carved in or marked on stone in the Petroglyph National Monument north of Albuquerque were made by Native Americans, Spanish soldiers, missionaries and other people passing through the area.
The trail was easy walking and the images that were initially difficult to see became easy to spot. The heat wore out Zach and we didn’t cover the entire tour but we did appreciate the preservation efforts for this unique spot.
