The US Army Corps of Engineers maintains a dam holding back 1200 acres of water as a flood and sediment control project on the Rio Grande River.
Joan bought a 1-day fishing license and worms and spent several hours with her line in the water. The other men and women had been there longer and had no success – the fish weren’t biting for the locals or the visitors.
Zach and Bob observed the lack of action from a shaded picnic area while Joan tried her best. Joan: 0; fish: 1.
