Amarillo, Texas

Amarillo was the next destination in the drive to Lake Havesau, Arizona.  We stopped at the travel center on the east side of town.  Scripture verses covered almost all available spaces.

 A closer view of the sign states the wisdom of Godly people and the folly of those who don't have a close relationship with Him.  Look at the small print.

 One place that we were determined to return to is The Big Texan Steak Ranch in Amarillo.  It seems that everything is exaggerated in Texas and the boot is no exception.  Joan looks tiny next to it.

No space is wasted in the restaurant lot.  The "God Bless Texas" stands out as a reminder of the country song.  The steak was delicious and Zach got some choice pieces in his food for the next few days.  It always pays to save a few scraps for Zach.
