The Memorial Day Parade in Burnsville, North Carolina honored the hospice workers as local heroes. The group visits people in their homes and tends to their medical, emotional and physical needs.
Cassie, our daughter, is at the left in the photo below next to a co-worker, Donna and the director. They are holding the recognition plaques that were presented to the Hospice Organization in recognition of their service.
